There was a big-footed, clumsy boy
With lots of scrapes and stabs
All the mean kids gawked at him
And aptly called him “Scabs”
One Halloween night while stumbling home,
A car put out his light
The driver looked around and not a witness was in sight
So he brought his body over to a nearby pumpkin patch
He buried him, not knowing that an evil soon would hatch
Now every Halloween, if you dare pass through that field,
Make sure you drop some candy
Or boy, your fate is sealed
And just to be safe, my little ones
Before you go to bed
Leave some candy on your window sill
Or he might eat you instead!
